David Kaplan

Profile

David is a Tax Partner in BRC’s Charlotte office. He is responsible for providing tax compliance and consulting services for a diverse client base. He has over 20 years of tax experience from working in public accounting. Prior to joining BRC in 2018, he was a partner in a South Florida firm. His expertise covers various tax areas and diverse industries but his primary industry experience includes individuals, real estate, closely held companies and family businesses, manufacturing, and retail and wholesale. In addition, David provides services in tax planning, tax research, and representing clients for IRS and state tax examinations, audits, and notices.

Outside the Office

• David and his wife Kym moved to NC in 2015 from Fort Lauderdale, FL with their two boys, Skylar and Dylan
• Aside from spending time with his family, David enjoys movies and cheering on sports teams from South Florida and the Carolinas
• David and his family always enjoy the opportunity to visit Orlando for Disney World and the Universal Orlanda theme parks.
• David is actively involved in the Greensboro Jewish Community, volunteering on various committees, and has servied as a volunteer chapter advisor for the Greensboro chapter of BBYO, a high school Jewish youth organization
