Profile
Victor is a partner in our firm, serving clients in the firm’s assurance practice. Auditing and consulting for companies and organizations in a broad range of industries since 1990, Victor’s clients include companies in the government, nonprofit, manufacturing, wholesale, retail and service industries and organizations requiring Uniform Guidance and Yellow Book Audits. Victor’s experience includes:
- Audit and other assurance services
- Financial statement reviews and compilations
- Internal controls evaluation and studies
- Projections and forecasts
- Peer review
- Forensic consulting
- Due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and bond offerings
- Consulting on complex accounting and business issues
- Work flow analysis and redesign
- Peer reviews of CPA firms (system and engagement reviews)
Whether it means making a drive to a distant location, taking a call on vacation or engaging with a client in some unconventional way, Victor is known for making his clients a top priority. He particularly enjoys strategy sessions, noting one of his favorite authors is Jim Collins. Victor shares Collins’ approach in building on positive attributes to create the greatest value. Victor states “In working with clients, I don’t try to fix everything. I am there as a business advisor to help them figure out what they do well and how to capitalize on that. There is much more value to be gained in focusing and building on the things an organization does well, as opposed to a laundry list of challenges that may not help improve the company. My ultimate goal in working with clients is to create measurable value.”
