When should you expect your Electronic Tax Organizer?
With tax season upon us, many have begun to gather their 2022 information to send to their trusted BRC tax advisors.
BRC is continuing to offer an exciting tool to help you submit your tax documents with a secure, easy to use platform. We are providing everyone the option to submit their information using an Electronic Tax Organizer. These organizers will be provided over the next two weeks through My1040Data, a product developed by Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, the same company that provides BRC’s tax return preparation software.
This service uses data encryption for your protection and mirrors the traditional paper organizers you have seen before to create a user-friendly experience. The Electronic Tax Organizer will be prepopulated with your information from last year’s return and may save you a trip to the post office or to a BRC office, although we always enjoy seeing our clients. We recognize that everyone has different levels of comfort with sending documents electronically. If you have previously established a process with BRC for electronic exchange of information, we will automatically e-mail you a copy of your Electronic Tax Organizer. If you receive a copy of your organizer in the mail but wish to receive an Electronic Tax Organizer, please contact your BRC tax advisor to request this service.
