Tax Deadline Reminder
Please remember that July 15th remains the deadline to file the many returns that were extended as part of the COVID-19 relief granted by the IRS earlier this year. Therefore, all individual taxpayers should ensure that their 2019 personal returns are filed or extended and any related 2019 tax payments are made by this date to avoid being assessed additional penalties and interest.
Please also remember this is the due date for 1st and 2nd quarter 2020 federal estimated tax payments for individuals and calendar year corporations.
In addition, the IRS reminds taxpayers who suspended automatic bank withdrawals for tax payments ensure those payments are set-up to be drafted by the due date.
