BRC Response to COVID-19

We would like to share an update on how BRC is responding to the rapidly changing environment caused by the continued spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Our firm is devoted to the health and safety of our people, clients, and communities we serve. With safety as our primary concern, BRC is taking all necessary precautions with each decision oriented around our people and our clients.

As of Wednesday morning, March 18th, in compliance with nationwide guidelines and to allow our staff to take advantage of recommended work from home arrangements, BRC will close its office locations to visitors and no longer accept in person client meetings until further notice. We do not know how long this policy will be in effect, but we are prepared to serve clients remotely for an extended period, as well as, in limited situations at client locations.

Rest assured that we remain available to advise clients during this trying period and will continue to meet their needs and deadlines. Our extraordinary Information Technology team will ensure that our staff is equipped to deliver uninterrupted service and is reachable via phone and email. Serving our clients in the way they are accustomed continues to be our greatest priority.

BRC is able to accept and process files digitally and can set up virtual meetings in lieu of in personal visits. As with every year we encourage clients to submit information as soon as possible to ensure adequate attention can be given to their personal situation. Expect to hear from your individual contact at BRC with details.

On behalf of everyone at BRC, thank you for your understanding and support during this time. You and your loved ones are in our thoughts.

PREVIOUS POST DATED MARCH 11, 2020

With the COVID-19 outbreak throughout the United States and a state of emergency declared in North Carolina, the health and safety of our clients, employees and families is our utmost concern. Rest assured that BRC is taking precautionary measures and has designed a response plan in accordance with the CDC’s guidance to help mitigate the risks from COVID-19.

While our offices remain open and fully operational we would like to remind clients that our firm is able to accept and process files digitally and can set up virtual meetings in lieu of in person visits.  As with every year we encourage clients to submit information as soon as possible to ensure adequate attention can be given to their personal situation.  Please reach out to your individual contact at BRC with any questions.

We will keep a close eye on the situation and should the outbreak pose a heightened threat to any of our office locations, our firm has remote work capabilities for employees that will allow us to provide you uninterrupted service. During this challenging time, we are committed, as always, to fully serving your needs, meeting existing deadlines and delivering prompt responses to questions and concerns.

We wish you and your loved ones health and peace of mind as we continue to monitor and respond the situation.
