GREENSBORO, NC – Monday, September 9, 2019 – Effective today, BRC is pleased to announce the addition of a new principal to the Firm’s partner/principal group. Courtney Russell LaLone, CPA has joined the Firm and will be based in BRC’s Charlotte, North Carolina office. This key member addition strengthens BRC’s position as a premier North Carolina based, full-service accounting firm with over 170 employees and 6 locations in North Carolina.
Courtney’s addition to the BRC Team greatly enhances the Firm’s ability to serve its clients, its communities and its employees. “Courtney’s experience and relationships in Charlotte, along with his noteworthy reputation in the community, is a terrific addition for us, stated Alisa Moody, CEO of BRC. “In adding my experience and know-how to the team at BRC, I will reinforce the assurance and other business advisory offerings of the Firm,” said Courtney LaLone. “BRC’s commitment to maintaining a balanced, responsive and connected workplace completely matches my principles.”

Courtney has many years of accounting experience and has worked with international as well as local accounting firms. He has also served as a corporate manager for a large independent heavy-equipment dealer serving multiple states. Courtney is an accounting graduate from Central Michigan University.
