GREENSBORO, NC – Bernard Robinson & Co., an Accounting Today “Regional Leader” and among the top certified public accounting firms regionally, is pleased to announce that Lory Kelley, CPA has been elected by fellow partners to serve as Managing Partner.
“The partners are all focused on how BRC can evolve its services and technology to best serve our clients and I am honored to lead that charge now,” stated Lory. Kelley who has been an active member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Partners also commented, “Our partner group has identified numerous opportunities for BRC in the marketplace right now and we are committed to connecting to all of that for our associates and clients.”
Kelley, who joined BRC in 2007 and became a partner in 2012, currently serves as BRC Tax Practice Area Leader and has more than 22 years of experience serving family businesses, private enterprises, and high-net-worth individuals in a range of industries. Lory’s tax knowledge and upfront, yet compassionate approach and communication with her clients has been a hallmark of the “client experience” she delivers.
The change is a routine part of the Firm governance and part of the Firm’s innovative “Managing Partner role.” It also acknowledges the Firm’s overall diversity and inclusion mission.
The “Passing of the Baton” comes as Wade Pack, who has served as the firm’s Managing Partner since 2013 continues to remain an active partner with the Firm. Pack added, “Recognizing additional perspectives and transitioning leadership are critical to the Firm’s continued growth.” Wade continues to further the firm’s mission and goals by elevating the next class of leaders and partners at the Firm. Wade will remain at BRC to serve as a senior partner in the assurance practice and Affordable Housing Practice Group.
